Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I don't read a lot of other fanfics, but I'm trying to bring myself out of that a bit just so I can comment and share some love. At least the Gazette fic scene is better than the Dir en grey scene! But I think it just helps for people to write more and get creative with it, and just find things that enthuse them.
Hmm...you're right, thinking about the qualities of those animals could be pretty helpful. I can maybe peg Uruha as a bit of a crab (hard on the outside, mushy on the inside. Oh wait, that's gross).
I like the intimidating aspect with the scorpion. I wouldn't really have thought of that, but that could be really interesting. SOOOO I'm just gonna go ahead and steal that. If that's okay.
Virgo...I will just have fun with. I think I could even break my streak and write some that are humorous, with these themes!
