Guess Whose Computer Broke?
Dec. 24th, 2012 06:10 amThis girl!
I'm so aggravated. I had about 7 chapters of Superstar on there...all gone.
Grahhhh!
It's so frustrating. I guess I'll have to take a break for a little while, or work on something else until I a) remember where I was and b) can think about writing it again without slapping my PC in anger.
It's partially my fault. My computer has always been, er, angsty, and I don't really take very good care of it. I think I'm a bit rough with my possessions.
On the plus side, I'm back home for Christmas! I had to say goodbye to a lot of people, other international students who won't be going back to Canada next semester...including my Austrian boyfriend...so that was really, really sad. But I'll meet loads of newbies next term, and it's so great to be back with my family!
On the other hand, though, I am jetlagged like a son of a bitch. Case in point: it is 6am and I am writing this. Because it's only 11pm really. And my eating schedule is really fucked up.
6am doesn't really sound early, but I am not really the kind of person to be up and awake before noon.
Canada really is far away...! But I was buzzing the whole flight, because I was so excited to get home. And I'll be buzzing on the way back, too. I guess Canada's sort of home now, as well!
But it's really nice to have some English rain again. I haven't seen rain in four months. The air here is also so much less dry...and I can go outside without some kind of duvet coat...it's nice.
I'm rambling. I'M SO TIRED.
And bizarrely hungry.
