Hey chums. Just a little update to say that I'll be trying my best to knock this chapter out as fast as possible...
In the end, they did not give me my surgery, so I'm pretty pissed. They said I had to take some antibiotics first, to make the swelling go down, which is really irritating because:
a) I'm pretty sure the swelling is the visible tooth tearing through the side of my gum, and
b) the antibiotics make me THROW UP LIKE CRAZY.
Seriously, I have never known nausea like it. And I know my way around a toilet! Aha...
So I'm feeling pretty mis, not really in the zone as it were...I've been throwing up since 6 this morning, and now (12 hours later) whatever I eat or drink just reappears again. Like hey, I'm recycling. It's a pain because my tooth is still in agony, but I can't keep down any painkillers, so...ARGH.
Last sick reference, I promise: I've thrown up 25 times today!
Oh yeah, and this morning me and my sister drove up to see the dentist...after I finished throwing up in a bucket in the car (it wasn't the last sick reference. I lied). Our dentist is a lovely lady, but very chatty, so she gave me all these numbing injections (ow) and then x-rayed me, and then took care of my sister whilst the x-ray was being developed. So during that time, the anaesthetic wore off! So when she started digging into the swelling in the side of my mouth, holy fucking shit, I've never known pain like it.
So long story short, today is a day set aside for vomming and complaining. Thanks everyone who commented yesterday telling me to get well soon! That was really nice.
