I'm writing a Die/Kyo oneshot right now. I've been doing some thinking about simplicity and I'm trying to write something that's lyrical as I like it, but also more minimalist. So wish me luck with that one.

So you know, sometimes you're writing, and you go to google images for your situation? Well, I wanted a close look at Die for this one, so I promptly plugged him in.

This is quite a dark oneshot (hello) so of course, Die gave me...

I think I read all of your DEG-related stories so far and whenever Die is part of it.. ugh. He's a real turn-off for me. I do like his dorky and affectionate part in House of Cards but whenever something X-rated happens.. no. Just no. Same goes for Kaoru and Shinya, by the way. But since I love your stories I simply started telling myself things like "Okay, his name is Die, but NO ONE SAID THAT IT'S DIE FROM DIR EN GREY!" :D. And when you start describing him more detailed I simply ignore these parts. Hah. Worked pretty well for Kaoru in Superstar since it was his POV and you never described him and the way he looks. Maybe it's similar to that thing you said in another post?: "It was the first fic I read where I felt like even if it wasn't the Dir en boys, I would still be emotionally involved." Your fics were the first fics I read... even though.. Die was part of it.

Haha, oh boy, this post is so much fun. Allll the truths are coming out!

I kind of see where you're coming from, actually. I used to find Shinya such a no-go (he somehow manages to be the weirdest person in that band, which I'm guessing is no easy thing to do), but I think the key for me is to find reasons and backgrounds and make them relatable characters for myself.
Although I do find Die quite sexy, in a gawky kind of way. He also seems like a pretty chill lad. If I had to pick one member of Dir en grey to take drugs with, it'd be him without a second thought.

That said, I find it immensely flattering that you would still read my stories even if the pairings aren't to your taste! Although SPOILER ALERT, with your dislike of X-rated Die, you might want to close your eyes and think of England for the next chapter or two of House of Cards.

Although actually maybe everybody wants to close their eyes for that, because when I'm writing smut scenes Kyo/Toshiya comes more naturally for me (SPANKING?!), but everything else...less so. So let's raise our glasses for some awkward, scrawny sex.

The images you put in my head. Dear lord. But I'm sure the dane can manage, if he gets to top. Now, if the chihuahua wants to be the man in the relationship... well.. he needs to make the dane obey and sit when he says so. A bit like Kyo does with Toshiya.

Chihuahua Kyo and Dane Toshiya. Sounds legit.
